Asaba – MEN of the Delta State Police Command have arrested four suspected members of a gang that killed a former Divisional Police Officer, DPO, at Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state, Mr. William Agbogoroma, in January this year.

State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Charles Muka,  who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, yesterday,  told Vanguard that “they are at the police headquarters, Asaba, as I speak with you. They are undergoing investigation.”

The killed  DPO  was ambushed on that fateful Sunday morning while responding to distress call over a robbery attack.

Muka said: ”As he led his men to the scene of the operation to rescue the victims, but, unknown to him, the robbers suspected that one of the victims might have called the police, and laid ambush.”
