As part of efforts to achieve its aim of moving the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) forward, the new Comptroller-General of Customs, Dikko Inde Abdullahi MFR, has appointment new management team to work with him.    The new management team which comprises of five Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) and 13 Assistant Comptroller Generals (ACG’s).

The members of the new Management  team and their portfolios are as follows: DCG Hamidu Buba who would take over Tariff & Trade department, DCG Salisu Argungu, would be in charge of Human Resources Development and DCG Gideon Gotip that is expected to head Corporate Support Services.

The other two DCG’s are John  Atte for Enforcement, Investigation & Inspection and Mulikat Adegoke (Mrs) Mni who is to head Strategic Research and Policy.
The 13 ACG’s and their portfolios are, Garba MakarfiFinance, Administration & Technical Services (FATS), Olasukanmi  Ayanlaja, Enforcement and Drugs, Saidu Dabai, Excise and Industrial  Incentives, Nathaniel  Iheanacho mni, Asycuda and Julius  Nwagwu, now to take charge of Investigation and Inspection.

Immediate past Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Apapa port, Johnson Taylor, moves to Tariff and Trade, Madu Mohammed mni is expected to man the headquarters, Saka Yinusa, Zonal Coordinator    Zone ‘A’, Ofem Eno mni, is to move to Zone ‘B’, Othman  Mohammed, Zone ‘C’ and Gwary Dauda, Zone ‘D’.
The last two ACG’s are Okafor Bridget (Mrs) who is now to take charge of Accounts and Audit and Gwadue  Tingir, who is to be Secretary to Board of the Service.

In a press statement signed by Joseph Attah, Ag. Public Relations Officer of the Service, the new Customs boss pointed out that punctuality and discipline shall be the watchwords of the new administration.He congratulated the newly decorated ACGs and assured all that his Management team will lead by example.
