Food, it appears, plays a significant role in connecting individuals to their ancestors, and this is what distinguishes each continent.
Furthermore, international acceptance of cuisine aids in the promotion of a country’s culture, image, and sense of national pride. Unfortunately, thousands of African cuisines have gone unnoticed and unaccepted, owing to poor public relations and misrepresentation.
This calls for more industry drivers and promotion to instill a global acceptance. For centuries our cuisine has been a major part of our DNA and has kept our forefathers alive and without our cuisine there won’t be any African as food is a main ingredient for human survival and functionality.
