As the Big Brother Amplified (BBA) reality television show takes centre stage, housemates have undertaken their first major task in the house by celebrating with Coca_Cola brand which marked its 125 years of existence.

In order to ensure a hitch free celebration, the housemates, adorned in Coca_Cola branded aprons were expected to bake an anniversary cake and sing a birthday song for the brand. Divided into two groups, Big Brother provided the task contained in a silver briefcase to Zeus and Nick, the leaders of the two groups. The task included a five minute video which gave them some key background information on baking materials, recipes, and decoration references which must be used to make and decorate a Cake and Cup_Cakes which was painstakingly read out by Zeus and Nic to their respective groups. They were also expected to compose and sing a birthday song for Coca_Cola which must be done as they wait for the cake to cool down.

The housemates were divided into groups of 15 and 11 housemates. Group one which is led by Zeus (Botswana), has Vina (Nigeria), Michael (Mozambique), Jossy (Namibia), Weza (Angola), Wendall(Zimbabwe), Felicia (Malawi), Confidence (Ghana), Danny (Ethiopia), Sharon (Uganda), Millicent (Kenya), Lomwe (Malawi), Hanni (Ethiopia), Vimbai (Zimbabwe), Bernadina (Namibia)

The brief was handed over to Zeus and Nick by Big Brother at exactly 1.00 GMT (2 PM Nigerian Time) and the housemates went straight into tackling the brief. They were not left in a lurch as a step by step guideline on how to bake a cake with timelines were provided in the documents presented to Zeus and Nic by Big Brother.

Group two was led by Nic (Kenya). It has Alex (Ghana), Miss P” –Peo (Botswana), Mumba (Zambia), Lotus (Tanzania), Kim (Zambia),Nukli (South Africa), Luclay (South Africa), Bhoke (Tanzania), Karen (Nigerian), Ernest (Uganda).Nic as head of house read the task to his fellow housemates. All housemates were involved in the task with Wendall and Confidence inflating the Coca_Cola balloons with helium. Felicia and Vimbai, led the others housemates in baking the cake. The housemates thought it right not just to think Coca_Cola but also think happiness while taking Coke.
