Captain of table topping Dolphins FC, Emah Godwin, has expressed hope of the Port Harcourt side winning the league.
The Akwa Ibom state-born center back who made this known in a chat with Inside Out Premier League disclosed that the team didn’t go on break as they have set their eyes on the title.
Godwin said: “Despite being on top of the log at the end of the first half of the season, we did not go on break; this tells you how we are preparing hard for the remaining part of the season.
“On how well our preparedness will take us through, I do not know because football cannot be predetermined. But if we can maintain our present form, win all our home matches and not draw any but instead pick away wins, we will come out tops.
“We are very close to God so He will always give us victory. I want to inform all our fans that will not let them down.”
