BY EMMA OVUAKPORIE

ABUJA – THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, weekend, sealed two filling stations allegedly owned by a former director of the pension office, Dr Sulieman Shuaibu, who is said to be deeply  involved in the multi-billion Naira pension scam.

A whopping N12 billion was allegedly found in the secret accounts of the former pension director and his acolyte, Mrs Phiana Chidi, a former deputy director in the same office.

A multi billion naira estate undergoing construction was allegedly linked to Shuaibu, who is alleged to be  using his personal assistant, one Mr Aliu Bello, as front.

The top federal official, who is currently Director of Finance in the Ministry of Petroleum is being investigated alongside his former deputy, Phiana Chidi, while he was at the pension office.

Chidi, now in the Ministry of Transport, was the first to be arrested by the anti-graft commission in January this year when massive diversions from the pensions fund into private accounts were uncovered by the agency.
