An expert in the field of creative work has identified Bus-branding as the next platform advertising will follow to hit top of the mind product.

Bus branding, a platform the company said has benefitted some brands which subscribed to it, will remain for a long time a platform that will rule the branding world.

Speaking, Mr. Jubril Dixon, Managing Director, Noisemakers Limited, made this assertion in Lagos in a chat with the media, where he said that billboard advertisement will not be overran by Bus branding, but noted that Bus branding has more advantage over the still billboard.

According to him, “one of our major achievements is in our bus branding, a concept that has made us successfully connect our clients’ brands with the consumers. Another is the campus branding, a platform where brand owners can give visibility to their brands. What we do is to use the universities as a strong market and leverage on that,” he stated.

Dixon stated that one of his company’s marketing strategies had been to develop and implement winning marketing strategies using appropriate marketing communication tools designed to enhance, sustain and propagate brand essence.

He attributed some of the feats the company had been able to achieve over the years to its ability to evolve marketing strategies that had effectively connected the clients’ brands with their target consumers.

He however charged advertising practitioners in the country to always endeavour to expand the nation’s advertising space by coming up with innovations that would positively rub off on their clients’ brands and take the evolving marketing communications industry to the next level.

In a related development, Dixon pointed out that lack of sufficient funding has been identified as one of the major challenges facing operators in the marketing communications industry in Nigeria.

The Managing Director argued that though the nation’s marketing communications industry is evolving, the financial institutions in the country had not been as investor-friendly as they should be, while stating that there is the need for operators in the industry to properly connect brands to their end users.
