ADVERTISING Practitioners Council of Nigeria, APCON, has applauded the appointment of Sir Steve Omojafor, an advertising icon as Zenith Bank’s Chairman.

At a social gathering organized by APCON to honour the advertising guru, Mr. Lolu Akinwunmi, Chairman of APCON, described Mr. Omojafor “as a distinguished advertising practitioner.”

According to him, Mr. Omojafor has made advertising practitioners proud and urged other practitioners to emulate him.
Also speaking, Mr. Biodun Shobanjo, Chairman, Troyka Holdings, expressed high regards for Omojafor whom he said has set precedent for other practitioners to follow.

While chronicling the history of their early years as colleague and advertising practitioners and said that Omojafor is very hard working even as he is very proud of his achievement.

Commenting, Chief Akin Odunsi, a classmate of Omojafor at University of Lagos and colleague at Rosabel Advertising, described Omojafor who is also Chairman of STB_McCANN as a patient man.

According to him, “when we were together we will disagree, go home and return to reach a consensus. Chief Odunsi also praised the contributions of Omojafor as one time president of AAPN.”

Responding, Sir Omojafor said he was overwhelmed by the tribute and the dinner organized by APCON Chairman and Governing Council.

He commended the new APCON Chairman and Council who he described as very dynamic.
