The value of investment on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) recorded a decline last week as equities value represented by the market capitalisation dipped by N115.65 billion.
Specifically, the capitalisation dropped by 1.46 per cent to close at N7.809 trillion from N7.925 trillion at which it opened.
Another key performance indices — the All share index — slide by 1.46 per cent or 361.98 bases points to close at 24,445.06 points from 24,807.04 points at which it opened.
Stocks of Nestle Nigeria Plc led 69 others on the price losers’ table, dropping by N17.00 to close at N380.00 per share, Nigerian Breweries Plc followed with a loss of N2.00 to close at N77.00 per share and Unilever Nigeria Plc dipped by N1.80 to close at N25.00 per share.
