LAGOS—Two  men, Chinedu Ibeagwa, 23, and Emeka Ohiagu, 21,  have been arrainged before an Ojo Magistrate’s Court on a two-count charge of allegedly abducting one 13-year-old.

They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The charges read: “that you Chinedu Ibeagwa and Emeka Ohiagu on the 19th day of November, 2010 at about 08:30hrs at Sabo Oniba Ajangbadi Area in Ojo  magisterial district did conspire together to commit felony to wit abduction and thereby committed an offence punishable under 516 of the Criminal Code, Cap17, Volume two , laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003.

“That you Chinedu Ibeagwa and Emeka Ohiagu on the same date, time and place in the aforesaid  magisterial district, did unlawfully abduct a 13-year-old without the consent of her parents to your house and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 362 of the Criminal  Code, Cap,17,Vol.ii.

Meanwhile, one Rasaki Gbadamosi was arraigned before an Ojo Magistrate’s Court on a three-count charge of allegedly stealing textiles. materials.

The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The charges read : “that you Rasaki Gbadamosi and others at large, on the 9th day of November, 2010 at No 12 Oba  Wole Street, Iba New Site, Iba Town, Ojo in the ojo magisterial district,did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit shop breaking and stealing thereby committed an offence punishable under section 516A(a)of the criminal code cap C17,Vol ii.Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria2003.”

“ That you Rasaki Gbadamosi and others at large on the same date ,time and place in the aforesaid magisterial district, did allegedly steal the following textiles materials, such as ,big intorica geroges, high target wax, wooders wax ,foil laces, jean trousers, shirts ,shoes, bags, and other things all valued to be Nine Hundred and Ninety Eight Thousand Naira only, property of one Mrs.Ineh Valerie and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 390 of the crimi8nal code Cap.C17,vol ii Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003.”

The trial magistrate granted bail to the accused to the sum of Two hundred and fifty thousand naira and adjourned fuurther hearing till 29 of November 2010.
