Hon. Abdulazeez Kaka has dissolved his House of Representatives primary election campaign council and unveiled a new political platform, Team Kaka for Renewed Hope, aimed at promoting reconciliation and strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

The development was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Chairman of the dissolved Campaign Council, Hon. Garba Adamu, popularly known as Flour Mill.

According to the statement, Team Kaka for Renewed Hope is intended to mobilise grassroots support for the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through civic engagement, youth and women empowerment, policy advocacy, and initiatives that promote national unity, sustainable development and good governance.

The statement said the new platform marks the beginning of a new phase of political engagement, with members of the dissolved campaign structure expected to form its foundation. It added that details of the platform’s formal inauguration and activities would be announced in due course.

It also appreciated members of the dissolved campaign council, its directorates, volunteers, support groups and APC members for their contributions during the primary election process.

The statement reaffirmed Kaka’s support for the leadership of the APC and expressed appreciation to the people of Kaduna North Federal Constituency for their support.

Reacting to the development, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Malam Samaila Suleiman, described the dissolution of the campaign council and the formation of the new platform as a positive development for the party.

In a goodwill message, Suleiman commended Kaka for the initiative and called on APC members and supporters in the constituency to work together in the interest of party unity.

He urged members of Team Kaka for Renewed Hope and other party stakeholders to remain committed to strengthening the APC and supporting efforts aimed at the development of Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

Suleiman also reiterated his commitment to inclusive representation and people-oriented leadership, expressing optimism that greater cooperation within the party would contribute to its future electoral success.
