The Kumuyi Temitope Olubunmi Charity Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing education by donating learning materials and paying the school fees of indigent students at The Apostolic Church Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Mende, Maryland, Lagos.

The intervention brought excitement and appreciation across the school as pupils and students received quality school bags, mathematical sets and writing materials aimed at improving their learning experience and academic performance.

Speaking during the presentation, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, High Chief Temitope Olubunmi Kumuyi, said the initiative was part of the Foundation’s commitment to promoting quality education and ensuring that no child is denied access to learning because of financial constraints.

He disclosed that the Foundation also sponsored the education of students facing financial hardship by settling their school fees, stressing that every child deserves the opportunity to acquire quality education and fulfil his or her potential.

The donation sparked celebration across the institution, with pupils, students, teachers and other members of staff expressing joy and gratitude for the support.

The Board of Directors, management, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school commended the Foundation for what they described as a timely and impactful intervention.

According to them, the donation represents a significant investment in the future of the pupils and students, adding that its impact would extend beyond the immediate beneficiaries to positively influence The Apostolic Church Schools, the Mende community and the wider Apostolic Church family.

They also offered prayers for Kumuyi and the Foundation, expressing confidence that the organisation would continue to transform lives through educational support and humanitarian interventions while contributing to national development.
