A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, Hon. Tony Nwobodo, has reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state governor, Peter Mbah, in the 2027 general elections.

Nwobodo made the declaration shortly after paying a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area, Hon. Caleb Nnaji, at the council secretariat.

He commended President Tinubu for what he described as the delivery of democratic dividends to Nigerians, pointing to ongoing infrastructural projects across the country and signs of economic improvement.

According to him, the President’s “Renewed Hope” agenda is beginning to yield results and should be sustained through another term in office.

“For the sake of continuity and national stability, his re-election is a necessity that Nigerians should support,” Nwobodo said.

The APC chieftain also praised Governor Mbah for his administration’s development initiatives in Enugu State, particularly in Enugu South Local Government Area.

He described the governor as a visionary leader, adding that his “Tomorrow is Here” development mantra is transforming the state.

Nwobodo said he was backing the governor’s bid for a second term, noting that the ongoing reforms and development projects have improved investor confidence and increased property values in the state.

He also commended the local government chairman for what he described as effective leadership at the grassroots level.

The APC stalwart urged Nigerians not to be swayed by political distractions ahead of the 2027 elections, insisting that the achievements recorded so far by the Tinubu administration and the Enugu State government justify continuity in leadership.
