Swift AMAKTESS Limited, formerly known as Swift Logistics, has announced a major corporate transformation marked by a new company name, full regulatory licensing, expanded operations, and the opening of new locations across Nigeria.

The Chief Executive Officer, Solomon Akeh, who made the announcement on Tuesday, said the change reflects the company’s growth and readiness for a bigger national role.

He said that the rebranding reflects the company’s evolution into a more structured, compliant, and nationally positioned logistics and mobility services provider.

According to Akeh, the transition was driven by a deliberate decision to build a sustainable and professionally managed Nigerian brand.

He further said that the company’s new name, Swift AMAKTESS, is a unique blend of the founders’ names, symbolizing a shared vision built on trust, partnership, and long-term value creation.

“From inception, we were intentional about building a business that would outlive its founders.

“This transformation aligns with our internal structure, compliance posture, and service offerings with our long-term vision,” he explained.

Founded in 2020, Swift AMAKTESS LTD is the vision of Ameh Akeh (Founder) and Tessy Ameh (Co-Founder) and was built on the principles of business and family, drawing inspiration from successful couple-led and family-founded enterprises in Nigeria and across the globe.

Akeh emphasized that strong values remain central to the company’s identity.

“We believe that when strong family values are combined with professionalism and accountability, the result is a resilient and enduring brand,” he said.

The CEO said as part of its growth journey, Swift AMAKTESS has secured full operational licensing from the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), authorizing it to operate as a courier company nationwide.

In addition, he said that the company has also obtained approvals from relevant state government transport ministries, including the Akwa Ibom state, reinforcing its commitment to regulatory compliance and industry best practices.

The CEO maintained that regulatory compliance was a non-negotiable step.

He added, “Operating within the law and meeting regulatory standards is central to our credibility and the trust our customers place in us.

“To support our expanding customer base, the company has significantly upgraded its operational capacity.

“This includes the acquisition of additional motorcycles and delivery vehicles, the formation of strategic partnerships, and the launch of an updated corporate website designed to enhance customer experience and digital accessibility.

“We are investing in infrastructure, technology, and partnerships that allow us to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficiently.”

Beyond courier and logistics services, Akeh said that Swift AMAKTESS has also expanded into premium mobility and car rental services.

According to him, the company is offering luxury and executive vehicles, professionally trained drivers who undergo regular retraining, and flexible self-drive options tailored to both individual and corporate clients.

Akeh described the expansion as a response to market demand.

“Our clients are looking for convenience, reliability, and premium service under one trusted brand, and this expansion allows us to meet those expectations,” he said.

He said in line with its nationwide expansion strategy, Swift AMAKTESS LTD now operates in Abuja (FCT), Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Kano, and Nasarawa States, ensuring faster delivery times and improved service coverage across key commercial hubs in Nigeria.

He concluded by noting that the company had position itself as a forward-thinking Nigerian brand committed to innovation, integrity, and people-centered service delivery, with a clear focus on sustainable growth and national impact.
