As Daystar Christian Centre celebrated its 30th anniversary with a global thanksgiving service,  the church’s leadership has declared that its core mission is focused on transforming lives and empowering citizens, rather than merely expanding its physical footprint.

The two-day celebration, themed “A Mosaic of Changed Lives,” featured a clear policy statement emphasising empowerment, leadership development, and nation-building as the pillars of its ministry.

Senior Pastor, Sam Adeyemi,  stating unequivocally, that “God did not call us to build a large church; He called us to build strong people who reflect His character, competence, and capacity.”

He affirmed that the church’s true success was measured by the thousands of individuals who have experienced profound personal transformation through its doctrines and community initiatives.

The church’s approach he noted, integrates faith with practical empowerment, driven through structured platforms like the Daystar Leadership Academy, the Skill Acquisition Programme, and the Business Academy. These initiatives as noted, were designed to equip ordinary Nigerians to become role models and catalysts in society.

Further underscoring the church’s strategic direction, the Deputy Senior Pastor, Nike Adeyemi, said empowerment remained the church’s core identity.

“Empowerment remains Daystar’s core identity, lifting families and strengthening communities for national development,” she stated, highlighting that education and skills acquisition are central to its nation-building agenda.

The anniversary culminated in a multi-centre thanksgiving service, on Sunday, November 23,2025,where the church unveiled the next phase of its vision, which included  a major push into digital discipleship, leadership incubation, and expanded global community engagement.

With this policy stance, Daystar Christian Centre leadership said it had firmly positioned itself as a faith institution bridging spiritual growth with socio-economic development and establishing human empowerment as the enduring cornerstone of its mission.
