Ugbarajo Itsekiri youths have congratulated Reno Omokri on his nomination as an ambassador by President Bola Tinubu.

The group, in a statement on Sunday by the President, Comrade Joseph Okotie, described Omokri as a distinguished media personality and an illustrious Itsekiri son.

“Itsekiri Youths warmly extend hearty congratulations to Reno Omokri, an illustrious son of the Itsekiri Kingdom and a distinguished media personality, on his recent nomination as an ambassadorial nominee.

“Reno Omokri stands out for his rich insight in governance, global influence, patriotism, and unwavering commitment to the growth, development, stability, and security of Nigeria. He is also recognized as one of the most widely traveled Itsekiri personalities. With years of experience in policymaking, along with his broad international exposure and diplomatic engagements across continents, he has earned admiration both at home and abroad.

“We firmly believe that his vast international experience, deep cultural understanding, and longstanding commitment to national discourse will serve as invaluable assets in the diplomatic service of our nation.
