Ijaw Monitoring Group, IMG, has said Ijaw music icon, Mr Alfred Ezon-Ebi, is a blessing to the Niger Delta region.

The group’s coordinator, Joseph Evah, said a book, set to be launched in his honour, would inspire Niger Delta making waves globally to go the extra mile for the region, like the musical icon is doing.

Evah said the Ijaw were proud that the music star was still bustling with energy in the creative industry and the world was still enjoying his talent.

He stated: The entire Ijaw nation and Niger Delta wishes the gifted musician greater strength in the years ahead. Some of Ezon Ebi’s qualities, which we celebrate today, are his humility and accommodating spirit. It is those attributes that he taught some musicians whom he has mentored.

“Since the departure of his great mentor King Robert Ebizimor of blessed memory, Ezon Ebi who has won several awards.”
