The Edo Voice for Development Initiative (EVDI) has congratulated Hon. Felix Osaze Igbinovia on the conferment of the Distinguished Honorary Fellowship Award by the Department of Human Resources Management, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Benin.

Hon. Igbinovia, who represents Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area on the board of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC), has exemplified purpose-driven leadership, professionalism, and a deep commitment to community advancement.

In a congratulatory message signed by Efosa Iyawe, Executive Director of Edo Voice for Development Initiative (EVDI) said with over a decade of experience as an oil and gas specialist, Igbinovia has brought innovation, technical expertise, and strategic vision to Edo’s development efforts, especially within oil-producing communities.

“His leadership has directly contributed to the successful implementation of projects under EDSOPADEC, prioritizing infrastructure, youth empowerment, and human capital development. Furthermore, his public endorsement of developmental efforts by the Edo State Government—such as the construction of the Ramat Park Bridge—reflects his active engagement in ensuring dividends of democracy reach the grassroots.

“This honorary recognition is well-deserved and timely. It affirms Hon. Igbinovia’s commitment to excellence, his strong moral compass, and his continuous effort to bridge governance with academic insight. It is our belief that such honors not only celebrate the individual but also inspire a new generation of leaders who value integrity, service, and impact.

Iyawe said EVDI is confident that this award will energize Hon. Igbinovia to do even more for Edo State and that his leadership will continue to foster development, accountability, and progress across sectors. “Once again, congratulations on this remarkable recognition,” he concluded.
