…Passes Vote of Confidence on Lawmaker

BURUTU—The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ward 10 in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, has endorsed the Minority Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Alapala Ebitonmo, for a second term, citing his exemplary representation of his constituency.

Hon. Ebitonmo, a philanthropist representing Burutu Constituency 1 at the State Assembly under the APC platform, was elected with massive support across party lines during the 2023 general elections, owing to his dedication to selfless service and community development.

The endorsement was announced by the Ward Chairman, Comr. Fredrick Owei Ebimobowei, through a statement signed by all party executive members and released by the Ward Publicity Secretary, Comr. Mark Waibode Otutufegha, after an enlarged executive meeting.

The statement reads: “It is imperative at this moment to endorse Hon. Anthony Alapala Ebitonmo based on his outstanding and excellent performance in Burutu Constituency 1 and beyond. The lawmaker has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the well-being of his constituents through both infrastructure development and human capital investment.

“Ebitonmo’s leadership charisma is unmatched in the history of Burutu politics. While Burutu Constituency 1 has had several Assembly members in the past, his performance both on the floor of the House and within the community has been exceptional during his short time in office.

“His proactive engagement through visits to all wards, units, towns, and villages within Burutu Constituency 1 before, during, and after the elections underscores his commitment to understanding the needs of his people and fostering inclusive governance.

“The endorsement for a second term by the APC Ward 10 executive also reflects his indiscriminate distribution of democratic dividends and his philanthropic gestures toward constituents and non-constituents alike, regardless of political affiliations.
