The administration of President Bola Tinubu has been described as committed to bringing transparency to governance and ensuring even infrastructural development across the country.

At a Town Hall stakeholders meeting held at the Local Government Service Commission, Government Secretariat, Osun State, Khadijat Kareem, the Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, emphasized that the President is working tirelessly to address key issues affecting Nigerians.

Kareem stated that President Tinubu’s administration is focused on transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of the people. She emphasized the administration’s commitment to collaborating with local government stakeholders and community leaders to achieve its vision for the country.

“Mr. President is committed to addressing the issues that matter most to you all. His administration is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to your needs. We recognize the unique challenges facing Osun State, from infrastructure development to economic empowerment,” Kareem said.

She highlighted the President’s goals of creating a brighter future for the people of Osun, where citizens have access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. She assured the stakeholders that their concerns would be communicated to the President, with immediate actions taken to address them.

Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, thanked the President for sending an envoy to engage with the people of Osun. He urged President Tinubu to prioritize the completion of ongoing and abandoned federal projects in the state.

“We remain committed to federal-state partnership. We look forward to the completion of abandoned federal roads across the state. There are many abandoned projects in Osun State,” Rasheed said. “Our policy is one of partnership and collaboration with the center, without political coloration. We believe development transcends political divisions.”

Rasheed also expressed appreciation to the Presidency for organizing the town hall meeting in collaboration with the state government, noting that it reflects President Tinubu’s commitment to collective leadership and the delivery of democratic dividends to the people.

The meeting saw stakeholders, including market women, students, civil society organizations, and farmers’ groups, calling for immediate action on pressing development issues.
