Nigerian rapper and music icon Ruggedman has launched Rugged Sessions, an innovative project designed to spotlight artists across generations.

By combining interviews, performances, and special interactions, Rugged Sessions offers artists, both seasoned and emerging, a platform to share their stories and connect with audiences in new, authentic ways.

Through Rugged Sessions, Ruggedman aims to bridge the gap between veteran and up-and-coming talent, creating a unique space for artists to perform, connect, and engage with fans worldwide. The project includes a performance segment, giving musicians an opportunity to shoot viral videos or visualizers for their tracks, which can be pivotal for those who may lack the resources to produce official music videos.

“I have always been passionate about supporting others, and Rugged Sessions is another way I’m able to give back,” says Ruggedman. “This platform is for artists who need visibility, and it’s a space where music legends and fresh faces alike can share their stories and showcase their work.”

Rugged Sessions also captures memorable moments between artists who may not have seen each other in years. One highlight occurred when Jazzman Olofin reconnected with KB Kaboom of Trybesmen, a moment that was both nostalgic and heartwarming. Another historic encounter saw Faze meeting the legendary Alex O for the first time, whom he referenced in his hit song “Originality.” These moments of reunion and recognition create a genuine and vibrant atmosphere that fans can experience across the Rugged Sessions social media platforms on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

In his words: “We also make great memories when acts who have not seen each other in a long time link up on the set.
