The Niger Delta Ethnic Youth Alliance, NDEYA, has faulted the insinuation that the new Administrator of the Presidential Armnesty Programmer, PAP,Chief Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro, is not a true member of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Delta State.

The group, in a statement by its President, Amb Alex Ovie Idu, in Warri during an emergency meeting emphasized that  Otuaro “is a true member of the party, a very committed financier, loyal and trustworthy party man who has demonstrated great leadership capacity and support to the party.

“We the executives of this noble youth body, NDEYA, wish to reaffirm in confidence that Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro is a true member of the party, that’s he’s a card-carrying member of the APC in Delta State, who has contributed immensely with so much sacrifice and commitment to the peace, unity and progress of the party.

“It was shocking to see on advertorial by a faceless and unknown group of people, calling on President Tinubu to drop Dr Dennis Otuaro from the appointment as PAP, Coordinator to reappoint a bonafide APC member from the state.

“It is just borne out of jealousy and evil minds to make such untrue remark on the personality of Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro PhD.

“We the Niger Delta youths are strongly behind the appointment of a well known and learned grassroot politician with outstanding pedigrees whom we have a lot of trust and confidence for, having possessed strong character, political will and vast experience.

“We thank and commend His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this noble appointment that is a round peg in a round hole.

“We want to say here that, Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro PhD, is a great son of the Niger Delta region who has paid his dues. He is selfless, humble, focused and exponentially innovative to change the narrative of programme due to his huge wealth of experience and skills.

“We urge all genuine members of the party, leaders and stakeholders to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and throw weights behind Dr Dennis Otuaro to succeed in his new assignment.”
