‘Is this how we intend to win AFCON?’ Reactions trail Super Eagles defeat to Guinea in friendly

Some Nigerians have expressed pessimism about the chances of the Super Eagles to excel in Cote D’Ivoire when the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) kicks off following the team’s 2-0 loss to Guinea in a friendly on Monday.

The Jose Peseiro led-side failed to score a goal in their 2-0 defeat to the Syli National of Guinea in what was a demoralizing result ahead of the AFCON.

Taking to X to react to the loss, many fans of the Super Eagles were doubtful that the team would rise to the ocassion at AFCON.

Some claimed the result from the match against Guinea is a foresight into how woeful our campaign at AFCON will be.
