…Member elect Obanliku/ Bekwarra Obudu yet to get his declaration form

The Senator representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District at the Senate has finally been issued his declaration form 12 hours after been declared winner of Saturday’s National Assembly election.

Vanguard learned that Sen. Jarigbe who won governor Ben Ayade in what could be described as the battle of armageddon was declared winner around 3:02 am on Monday .

He hinted that the form was not available so he had no choice than to wait for them to get it , and his supporters had to come out en-mass to see him especially because he been declared winner at the zonal  INEC office at Ogoja 

“But INEC’s  inability to issue him a declaration form led to a protest that kept some staff of the Commission locked in,  but all that have been now been sorted out.

He however said he was excited serving his people as it makes him feel fulfilled and would be willing to give his all by making sure his people got the best standard of life.

“I’m highly elated , I feel fulfilled , i have been in the Senate for a year and 5 months I have started a few projects human capital development and I hope to consolidate on that by doing more.

“I knew I was going to win because  governor Ayade  performed abysmally  and didn’t bring the dividend of democracy as a senator, i have done well for my people , and I will put in all to make them live better .

“The only issue I have is with INEC concerns the issuance of Declaration form, because as I speak to you the member elect  Representing Obanliku Bekwarra Obudu Federal Constituency, Hon Peter Akpanke is yet to receive his declaration form , INEC should live up to expectation,” he said .

Declaration form is the document that shows you have been duly elected and declared winner which also  enables its owner to collect his or her Certificate of Return.
