Jos – Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong has cast his vote at his Ajikamai village, Shendam local government area, saying he is confident of emerging victorious as the people will support him to consolidate on the achievements in the State.

Speaking with Journalists shortly after casting his vote at about 11:15 am, he maintained the All Progressives Congress, APC would win the elections in the state.

At about the same time, the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Jeremiah Useni cast his vote in his Langtang country home at about 11:36am where he equally expressed optimism of winning the poll.

So far, there is massive turn out of voters across the polling units in the State and INEC officials were timely in most polling units, some reporting for duties as early as 6:30am.
