OLEH—NATIONAL Vice Chairman, South-South of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Olorogun Andrew Okagbere, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, of postponing the presidential and National Assembly elections to “protect” All Progressives Congress, APC.

Reacting to the postponement, Okagbere said INEC took Nigerians for a ride. He said: “If they think they are doing it to protect one political party, they better stop it.

“If they think they are not ready or the party is not ready, they should stop it. We know they are doing this because of the areas where APC will not run for governorship, as decided by the courts.

“If INEC wanted to postpone the election, they had the last one week to do that, not allowing people to travel long distances only to come out by 2a.m. and announced postponement. It is uncalled for.”
