GOFAMINT ends special programme with anointing service

THE Gospel Faith Mission International,  GOFAMINT, Bariga District last Sund-ay ended its spiritual em-powerment for the journ-ey ahead in the year 2019 with a special anointing for glory.

The 7-day special progra-mme was presided over by GOFAMINT Reg-ion 1 Pastor, Dr. John J Udofa, Bariga District Pastor, Pastor Taiwo Olaiya and other anointed ministers from the dist-rict.

The event which started on January 2, with a theme: “The 7 Spirits of God” held at the district headquarter church at 9, Ajenipa Street, Bariga; with special ministration by the District Choir, Seyi Sax, Children Department Choir and notable men of God.

Preaching on the title “Anointing for the spirit of Glory” the regional pastor, said it was important to manifest glory after rec-eiving the glory anointing.

“You need to manifest the glory of God in you to excel in life. If the glory in you is not manifested, it’s no longer effective and with this anointing, the glory in you will manifest. You will be able to speak words that will make the enemies tremble, destroy curses and evil weapons and do wondrous things and actualise your dreams.”

He prayed that the Glory of God will begin to mani-fest immediately.

In an interview on the coming general elections, the regional pastor said “PVC and prayer are key in our coming general elect-ions. Christians should collect their PVC, vote and pray”.

The District Pastor, Pastor Taiwo Olaiya, admonished political parties to shun violence and not to take the election as a do-or-die affair, to  avoid crises in the country.

He advised President Muhammadu Buhari, to protect his integrity and eliminate the political cabals who might tarnish his image and to set a legacy for democracy in the country.

He called on Nigerians to exercise their electoral franchise and avoid selling their birth-right.

The pastor thanked the ministers and members for attending the progra-mme, praying that the power received  will sust-ain them throughout the year and if Christ tarried, they shall witness more of it on earth.
