OWERRI —Loyalists of Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, and Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, have been directed not to vote for any contestant on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

Ralph Uwazuruike, MASSOB leader

The BIM/MASSOB Leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, stated this in Owerri, weekend while announcing the sixth memorial day celebration of the late Biafran icon, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, scheduled for November 26, 2018.

“BIM/MASSOB members are once more reminded not to vote for any contestant on the platform of APGA in the forthcoming general poll”, Uwzuruike directed.

Explaining why the directive became necessary, Uwazuruike said: “The vote of no confidence passed on the Chief Victor Oye-led APGA, is still in force.

“APGA has sadly been hijacked by cabals, who helped to shortchange Ndigbo in the scheme of things in Nigeria.”

Uwazuruike’s position was made public via a statement by his media assistant, who also doubles as Biafra Director of Information, Chris Anierobi Mocha.

On the proposed Ojukwu Memorial Day, Uwazuruike said very important personalities, who are friends of the late icon and his widow, Iyom Bianca Ojukwu, and members of BIM/MASSOB, are expected to grace the occasion in Owerri.
