CHIEFTAIN of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta North, Azuya Tony, has been declared winner of the party’s House of Representative primary for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal constituency.

Azuya emerged winner with a total of 421 votes to beat other three other aspirants.

Declaring him winner, Returning Officer for the exercise, Vincent Ochade, said 23 votes were voided out of a total of 775 with a total 798 accredited voters.

The primary which was held at the Aniocha North APC secretariat, was conducted by the Chief Cyril Ogodo led executive of the party.

Applauding the delegates for their support and confidence in him, Azuya promised to deliver on his mandate ahead of the 2019 general elections noting that the APC is positioned and ready to unseat the PDP in Delta State.
