BIRNIN KEBBI—KEBBI State Police Command has said it will start arresting motorists that use spy numbers plates and sirens across the state, while also warning the public against buying used phones.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Ibrahim Kabiru, made this known in his office during a briefing, where he said: “Vehicles, both commercial and private, covering numbers plates and illegal use of siren on highways should stop or get arrested.”
On used phones, Kabiru said they could have been stolen or belonged to robbers, which can put the buyer in trouble, advising parents and guardians to always monitor their children and wards, particularly at night.
Meanwhile, over 766 officers from Kebbi State were promoted by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
