Lagos—GOVERNOR Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, has called on the State Civil Service to come up with data-backed and data-inspired ideas that will rival those of their counterparts in the developed countries, adding that if civil servants are well equipped to discharge these tasks, the government programmes would be positively perceived by the populace.

Ambode, who addressed selected civil servants in two-day training at the NECA House, Ikeja, tagged: Information Management for Positive Perception of Lagos State Government Programmes, encouraged stakeholders like the citizens, donor agencies, civil societies and the media to objective evaluations testify to a Lagos State Public Service that is better motivated, focused and better equipped to confront the challenges of modern governance in an emerging, dynamic and rapidly growing global city.
