Organisers of Securex West Africa, Afrocet Montgomery, have called for synergy among stakeholders in response to the dynamics of rising cases of insecurity in the country.
In a statement, Regional Director, Afrocet Montgomery, Mr. George Pearson, said the security exhibition was initiated to showcase the latest technology and promote products to potential customers.
He said that the exhibition running in Nigeria is the leading exhibition conference for security and safety in West Africa, stating, “The overall size of the exhibition space has increased by over 30 per cent since 2017.
“This increase has seen a number of the biggest companies in the industry returning as exhibitors for the first time in three years, a testament to how Securex West Africa continues to be an influential and effective platform for companies looking to establish themselves and increase business in the region.
“We live in fractious times that require the greatest degree of focus and collaboration of all stakeholders in responding appropriately to dynamics in the evolving threat environment. We must work together to develop holistic, collaborative, human security-centred responses, and deploy the right technology, resources and skilled manpower to achieve the desired results”.
