Photos: MSF quits Rann, evacuates staff

Here photos from the evacuation of wounded and deceased aid workers from Rann today, following yesterday’s attack which killed three of our beloved colleagues and injured another:

The medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres(MSF) said on Friday it had suspended its work in the town of Rann in Borno State and just as it said that it has evacuated national and international staff after a deadly raid by Boko Haram guerrillas.

Suspected Boko Haram gunmen killed four Nigerian aid workers in an attack on a military barracks in the town in Borno state late on Thursday.

Following the attack in Rann on 1 March 2018, in which three aid workers were killed and one injured, UNHAS has assisted with the evacuation of the wounded.
