OWERRI—FOLLOWING the cry by Imo residents over the continued sale of petrol above N145 official price, the state Department Petroleum Resources ,DPR, Owerri, has sealed thirteen petrol stations in Imo, nine of which violated the seal order.

Leading the officials of the DPR yesterday on the exercise in Aboh, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte Mbaise Local government areas was the Acting Zonal Operations Controller, ZOPSCON, Imiegha Olufemi and Head Downstream Division, Mr. Sunday Madunwusi.
During the exercise, the DPR team discovered by the use of their totalizer readings that some of the filling stations that were sealed on Tuesday violated the seal order and continued selling the product.
They included, Ogopalm Petroleum Limited; Boek Nigeria Co. Limited; Nwadi Uzor Oil Nigeria Limited; Bencology; Benuaks Oil Services; Choilee Nigeria Limited; Starchem Oil; Excobigg Options and Jemmris oil and gas.
