KANO—The Police Command in Kano State, yesterday, quizzed Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s Commissioner for Special Duties, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, over a video clip that purportedly incited people against a sitting senator, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The encounter with the Police by Abbas came on the heels of the arrest of his two children and a house maid over a free-for-all between Ganduje and Kwankwaso supporters on Sunday.

Briefing reporters on the political tension in the state, and the steps to address it, the Police image-maker in Kano, DSP Magaji Majia, said the invitation of the commissioner was sequel to a petition submitted by a private lawyer.

He revealed the identity of the two Abdullahi Abbas’ children arrested as Sani Abbas and Abbas Abbas, while the maid is Nazeephy Shawuya.
