THE people of Beneku community in Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State, have assured the management of Sterling Energy Exploration Petroleum Company Limited, SEEPCO, of a harmonious working relationship for the overall development of the community.

Representatives of the community made the pledge during the foundation stone laying ceremony of a 5- classroom block being constructed by the company for the community in line with a General Memorandum of Understanding, GMoU, between both parties.

The project, sited at the Ndam Primary School, is part of a subsisting GMoU signed by SEEPCO with the community.

Applauding the company for the project, chairman, Beneku Community Development Committee, Emmanuel Kokonum, described the project as first of its kind in the community, adding that the people of Beneku would continue to maintain a harmonious working relationship with SEEPCO.
