“One of the issues we tried to look at is this; there are many things affecting us as you all know. It is so clear to us. There is a move for the issue of amendment of the constitution. And as expected, we believe we know as a group what should be our interest. We want to present a common position and have our Houses of Assemblies and other stakeholders who believe in us to come along with us on issues we believe are fundamental to our interest”, Akeredolu said.
The meeting of the governors has been consistent in the last four months.
Irrespective of political affiliations, the governors resolved to always maintain a common position when it concerns matters affecting the zone.
