GOVERNMENT Secondary School, Omu-Aran Old Boys Association, OGSSOBA, has packaged series of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Alma mater which will hold from Thursday November 9 to Sunday 11th.
The celebration which will feature cultural dance and various forms of entertainment will kick off with a visit to the Olomu in Council, a road show and a football match.
On Friday morning, a reunion School Assembly will be held where all the old students will put on the school uniform while the principal will address the assembly. A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Prince Lateef Fagbemi will thereafter deliver the anniversary lecture before the Jumat Service at the Central Mosque. The Annual General Meeting will then be held at 4 pm followed by the Annual Dinner.
During the celebration, a number of projects undertaken by the various sets of the school will be commissioned.
