Power Oil, in collaboration with Ogun State government, has deployed its health camp team across three primary health centres from different local government areas of Ogun State to support and facilitate the vital check process of the Ministry of Health.
This was established during the formal launch of the project at the Ogun State Ministry of Health Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
The health centres include Ita Alapo Family Health Centre in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area; Ota Primary Health Centre in Ado-Odo Otta Local Government Area, and Obantoko Primary Health Centre, Odeda Local Government Area.
Free facility-based hypertension screening equipment, including blood pressure monitor, BMI device as well as the routine hypertension data booklet, which registers patients’ personal information such as age, sex, height, weight and checkup result, were presented to representatives of each of the health centres.
Speaking at the programme, Dr. Qudus Yusuff, Director, Public Health, Ogun State Ministry of Health, commended the Power Oil brand for its unrelenting efforts in the promotion and encouragement of stable heart health and healthy living among Nigerians.
The Public Relations Manager of Power Oil, Mrs. Omotayo Azeez-Abiodun, thanked the Ogun State Ministry of Health for the endorsement, while assuring the state of the brand’s continued support in the quest for a deeper outreach result in the state.
