Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has said he wouldn’t be disturbed by travelling long distance to play for the national team when called upon by the coaches.

Ighalo was reacting to reports that he and John Obi Mikel will miss the last World Cup qualification game against Algeria next month because of the long distance they have to travel from their base in China.

‘’Well, I haven’t heard anything about not playing the last game for now.  Though it is true about the distance we have to travel, but I am always ready to honour my country whenever I am called up.

“I think I will get in touch with coach to find out more,” Ighalo said.

He scored a brace as his club Chungchun Yatai beat Guizhou Zhicheng 3-2 in a Chinese Super League clash yesterday.
