In a bid to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Angola, the Nigerian Ambassador to Angola, Ambassador Adesesan Olatunde, has tasked the Angolan government on the imperative of bilateral relations between both countries.

Amb. Olatunde stated this during his courtesy visit to the head of Angolan Mission in Nigeria, Eustaquio Januario Quibato, to announce his departure to Luanda, the capital of Angola. According to him : “The need for diplomatic relations and cooperation in addition to bilateral agreements for the well-being of Angolans and Nigerians cannot be over emphasised, because we are in a period when the unity of African countries needs to be the top agenda of African Union (AU).”

Responding, the Angolan Ambassador thanked the Nigerian Ambassador for the charge and assured Nigeria of Angola’s determination to partner with Nigeria and other African countries.
