Iheanacho, who picked up a toe injury in the pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach but has appeared for City as a substitute this season, played 80 minutes and was also on target .
Shakespeare said the pair’s conditioning would now be assessed ahead of the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium before he made a decision whether to give them their first starts for City.
“Thankfully most of them have come through the game,” said Shakespeare.
“Vicente and Kelechi have a clean bill of health.”
