I believe he’s still interested

I believe he’s still interested

love

DearBunmi,

I MET my current boyfriend six months ago and we seemed to hit it off from  the word go. A few weeks ago, after our last date, he just stopped calling.  I’ve tried his mobile, left messages and sent texts, but haven’t heard a word  from him.  My problem now is that my friends are telling me to forget all about him as  it’s obvious he has moved on. But I’m worried in case something’s happened to  him.

How long do you think I should wait before writing him off’?

Shakirat, by e-mail.

Dear Shakirat,

I have to agree with your friends – all the signs are there that your man is no  longer interested in the relationship. Instead of twiddling your thumbs waiting for his call, follow his example and find someone else. In the meantime, take a look at these expert advice to help you recognise if a new relationship is working. If two or more of the statements are true, back off, he’s not interested:

(a) He takes your number but doesn’t call.

(b) He only talks about himself, and never listens to what you say.

(c) He makes excuses when you ask him for his personal details – such as his e-mail or mobile phone number.

(d) He doesn’t return texts or messages.

(e) He prioritises a night with the lads over spending time with you.

(t) He complains when you phone him.

(g) He only calls round late at night, stays for love making, then leaves.
