Acts 1:10-11 states: “And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

The above context presents two grand and wonderful events that mankind will ever be acquainted with, and these are the ascension and return of the Lord Jesus which is rapture. While the ascension has taken place, the coming again to rapture the saints is at the door. The rapture will be a consolation for the believers who have been mocked, disgraced, persecuted and scorned at for the sake of Christ but on the other hand, it will be a source of ceaseless apprehension to the sinners.

We all know that the miseries and persecution of believers hitherto are not hidden. The worlds have seen the harmless believers been cut down and in a most horrifying manner. Their Master Jesus Christ was also publicly whipped, cursed, crucifi-ed and His death was made public. So during rapture Christ shall make a triumphant public return, so that the saints and heaven will rejoice at His appear-ing and we all will be with Him forever.

Although we are not given to know the time when this will happen but God in His generosity has made us to know the signs that will showcase this last agenda of God’s program. And from all indications all the signs mention-ed in the Scripture concerning this event are here with us.

Matthew 24:7-12 says, “for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes, in divers places 8; all these are the beginning of sorrows 9: then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and ye shall be hated of all nation for my name sake 10: and then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one ano-ther 11: and many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many 12: and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

In our very eyes all these pro-phesies mentioned above are being fulfilled. Iniquity is now the order of the day in the offices, markets, on the road, streets and at home. Everywhere is evil, corruption and all kind of wicked-ness have taken over the places. Nations are rising against na-tions, kingdom against kingdom; pestilences such as Ebola, Menin-gitis, etc are in diverse places. Almost half of the population of the world is sorrowful.

We are hearing and witnessing more than ever before tremors, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc in different places in our present days. This is an indication there is no more time. That is why God brought this message to persuade you to amend your ways and get ready for rapture before it is too late. You should stop wasting your time and claiming Christianity while God has no record of you.

II Timothy 3:1-3 says: “This know also that in the last days perilous time shall come 2: for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy 3: without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, in-continent, fierce despisers of those that are good 4: traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God 5: having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away.”

Many people are claiming to be Christians but there is no eviden-ce of salvation in their new claims. And the genuine Christians are finding it difficult to maintain their veneration to God Almighty. This is indeed a dangerous time for believers as written in the Bible. In the offices they are threatened for not joining hands to defraud the company.

In the community, they are persecuted for standing on the truth and denouncing corruption. Today we are witnessing in the highest proportion bribery, corruption, wickedness, killing, kidnapping, lots of evil and these are the signs spoken of in the Bible as perilous time when Christ shall come.

I Timothy 4:1-3 says, “Now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter time some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirit and doctrines of devil 2: speaking lies in hypo-crisy, having their conscience, seared with a hot iron 3: for-bidding to marry and command-ing to abstain from meats which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”

You should agree with me that all these things are no longer strange among us. Many people have followed the doctrine of the devil and are forbidding ma-rriage, eating meats, dressing appropriately, etc which are contrary to the word of God, and these are signs of the last days.

Many are hypocrites who claim to be children of God but are liars, and cannot teach the truth or live a God’s fearing life. Some of them have their conscience seared with hot iron but yet lay claim to Christianity. The Bible says when you see these things going on; you should know that it is the last time. These signs should serve as a warning for preparation because if you don’t prepare now, it may be too late for you, if you don’t amend now it may be too late for you.

So, prepare now, make sure that nothing is standing between you and God. Prepare so that that day will not take you unawares, so that you will not be like the foolish virgins that came late and the door was shut. You must undertake to ensure purity inside and out-side because God is holy and if you must be with God you must be holy.

I Peter 1:15-16 says: “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation 16. Because it is written, be ye holy for I am holy.”

God is holy and if you want to see God at His coming you must be holy in thought, words, actions and commitment. You must stop Christianity of sin and repentan-ce. Everyday should not be a day of repentance. If you are living your life like that, then you should understand that if the trumpet sounds, you may not have repented of the ones you sinned, thus you are going to miss the rapture and by extension heaven.

Your repentance must be to sin no more. And if you really want to be with the Lord after death or be among those that will be raptured at His second coming, then, you must have a genuine repentance. Until this is done you cannot say you are ready for rapture.
