Abomination and violation of laws

It is my fervent prayer that people should not eat abominable things and violate laws. Abominable things and violation of laws have made many people to be what they are today. Abomination and violation of laws are different but they do the same work. Some believers who follow the way of Jesus Christ but eat of draw soup (ogbono) which is a taboo in their families. Unknown to the families these believers are eating the soup. Such believers are abiding to God’s laws but violating their families’ laws.

When problems and calamities befall their families, they will complain to the extent of challenging God that they are serving God diligently and obeying His commandments and don’t see why they should be facing such problems. They will not realise that the cause of their predicament is the soup they are eating. They are not vigilant enough to know that it is an abomination.

Recently, in the course of my prophetic counseling, a 46-year old woman came to see me to seek solution to her problem. She had 17 pregnancies and none of them survived. The spirit of God revealed that she had been eating an abominable food which has been the cause of her problem. Then I advised her to investigate thoroughly what is the abominable food in her family.

Later she found it was moin moin which she was so fond of eating. She told me that it was her great grand-father that forbade his children from eating the food. What was the reason? Her great grand-father’s twins (male) were mistakenly killed when a tree that was being cut down in the bush by a man fell on the twins. On returning to the village, the man failed to break the news for fear that the father of the twins would retaliate.

Consequently, a search for the children by the villagers led to the place their bodies were found and later buried. Her father became aware of the cause and the person responsible for the death of the twins in a dream and confirmation made by some native doctors. He decided to avenge the death of his two kids.

While searching for the killer, he met a female native doctor who was hiding the killer for a sacrifice to the deity to calm down the father of the twins so as to have a change of mind. This woman started pleading, appealing and pacifying the man and offered him food and hot drink including kola nut which were meant for sacrifice; then the twins’ father ate and drank. Later the woman made him realize that he cannot avenge the death of his children because he had eaten and drank the sacrifice meant for atonement of the offence; the killer of his twins committed after the sacrifice had been accepted.

She brought out the killer from her hideout. Immediately, the father of the deceased twins shouted angrily and vowed that never in this world that his children would eat moin moin.

Sequel to the above, I told the woman to desist from eating the abominable food if she wanted to have her own children. Brethren people must be wary and careful about abominable things. Do not be fast to be angry or alter wrong words; be slow in getting angry and altering wrong words. The Bible mentioned abominable things in Deuteronomy 14:11-21 “….Do not eat anything that is already dead…Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

Many people do not remember abominable things they have done which are adversely affecting their lives. In the Bible, Samson had an abomination that no razor should be used on his head. Judges 12:5-7 “…No razor may be used on his head, because the boy is to be a Nazirite, set apart to God from birth, and he will begin the deliverance of Israel from the hands of the Philistines…”

If you want to cancel abomination in your life, you must seriously have Jesus Christ in you and vice versa; otherwise you will always be under the influence of the abomination. Many servants of God had preached against women wearing men’s clothing that the law of God forbids but a lot of women today disregard this law.

They always believe that it is civilization that brought about the idea. Deuteronomy 22:5 “a woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women clothing, for the Lord your God detest anyone who does this.” This is same thing for men putting on earrings. A child of God and a follower of Jesus Christ must not violate the laws of God. Husbands should not encourage their wives and children to violate what God forbids so as to avoid the consequences that come as a result of violation.

Let people be wary of abomination and violation of laws.
