Citizens Wealth Platform, CWP, a coalition of Civil Society Organisations, CSO, yesterday, disclosed that there was still no clear deviation from what obtained in the past in the preparation of the country’s budget, stating that the 2017 budget of the Federal Government is still suffused with frivolities, inappropriate, unclear and wasteful expenditures.
Addressing journalists on the estimates in the 2017 budget, Mr. Eze Onyekpere, Facilitator CWP, called on the National Assembly to undertake a thorough scrutiny of the budget document so as to eliminate the frivolities and wasteful estimates in the document.
