The Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Abuja branch, has conferred Innovative Leadership Award on the Registrar-General, Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, Alhaji Bello Mahmud.

This came as a seasoned journalist and Publisher of Parliament International Magazine, Mr. Gowon Egbunu, was selected by the Arewa Youth Advocacy for Excellence, AYAE, as recipient of its Young Promising Politician of the Year award.

Workshop on the theme, Obtaining Effi-cient and Effective Services of the Commission, NBA Chairman, Abuja chapter, Mr. Ezenwa Anumnu, officially announced the award, which was formally presented to the Registrar-General in his office.

Mahmud expressed gra-titude for the kind gesture.

On Egbunu’s award, National President of AYAE, Alhaji Musa Wada, said in a statement in Abuja that the group had resolved to identify and stand with young Nigerian entrepre-neurs to encourage them.

Alhaji Wada said AYAE was determined to search and fish out young Nigerians, who have excelled in their fields of endeavour and expose them as role models.
