MASSIMO ALLEGRI has told friends he will leave Juventus at the end of the season to join Arsenal, according to stunning reports in Italy.
Calciomercato yesterday sensationally claim-ed Allegri, 49, will join the Gunners this summer.
Reports are allegedly circulating in Allegri’s hometown of Livorno that he let the story slip at a dinner with pals.
If the claims are true, it would mean Arsene Wenger would be on his way after 20 years at Arsenal. Wenger, 67, is yet to agree a new deal with the north London side and has just four months remaining on his contract.
Roma boss Luciano Spalletti has allegedly been lined up to replace Allegri at Juventus.
Spalletti is said to be fed up with Francesco Totti’s role at the club and he’s held of signing a new deal.
Allegri was asked earlier this month if he was replacing Wenger at the Emirates.
In a somewhat cryptic answer, the Italian said: “I won’t deny or confirm anything.
