This is the last in a six-part series that hopes to steer the current exchange rate debate away from uninformed analysis to one focused on facts, taken from economic theory, history, and evidence from Nigeria and other countries that have undergone periods of currency crisis. Troops kill 12 rustlers, recover 1,033 cattle, arms, others
Troops of Operation Sharan Daji engaged in anti-cattle rustling, armed banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities in various states of the North-West, weekend, recorded major successes against rustlers, killing 12 of them, destroying their camps and recovered many livestock, arms and ammunition.

‘Excessive bureaucracy hampers trade facilitation in Africa’
CHIEF Executive Officer of West Blue Consulting, Ms Valetina Mintah has said that excessive bureaucracy has been identified as the most severe constraints to trade processing in Africa. Speaking at the recently concluded Ghana National Single Window Media Trade facilitation workshop in Akossombo, Ghana, Mintah said importers and exporters remain uncompetitive in the global business arena, a development that could be attributed to the number of days it takes to complete import and export processing and their attendant costs.
