Court remands man in prison for alleged rape of minor
A Minna Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday remanded one Yahaya Garba, 27, in prison custody for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl. Garba was arraigned on a one-count charge of rape, contrary to Section 283 of the Penal Code. The Prosecutor, Cpl. John Steven, told the court that Alhassan Shaibu of Limawa Gwada reported the matter at the Gwada Station on Nov. 21, 2015.
